Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing; California RN License and CPR certification.
• Experience in Substance Use Disorder treatment and advanced knowledge with Co-Occurring Disorders.
• 1–3 years managerial experience required.
• Must have California driver's license and liability insurance to drive on BHS business.
• Able to stand, stoop, bend-squat and reach to perform job duties; able to lift up to 25 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Plans, supervises, and directs nursing services.
• Meets unit/program and contract utilization and expectation standards.
• Participates in quality assurance and improvement activities; monitors model fidelity for evidence-based practice.
• Acts as liaison between Medical Director, Nursing and Treatment team.
• Observes nursing care to assess patient requirements and staff performance.
• Develops or ensures monthly nurse schedule and appropriate staffing.
• Develops and implements Nursing Services policies and procedures.
• Maintains planning consistent with hospital or program structure.
• Addresses complaints and issues to improve services; participates in public relations and collaborations.
• Works with the treatment team and facilitates Inter-Disciplinary Team meetings.
• Develops and maintains nursing and management reports.
• Collaborates with Executive leadership to establish staffing requirements.
• Performs employee evaluations, counseling, and training per policy.
• Onboards and trains new hires; provides relevant training to Nursing Staff and Clinical Treatment team.
