Evergreen Healthcare Group seeks a Director of Nursing (DNS) to oversee the day-to-day operations and activities of the resident care staff. The role ensures the Nursing Department maintains high standards of excellence and quality care in a long-term care setting.

You will lead care planning systems, participate in staff recruitment and performance management, and uphold certification and survey requirements to support licensure and quality assurance initiatives.

Qualifications

• Current Registered Nursing license in State (RN) is required.
• Preferred: Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing.
• Preferred: Certification in Rehab Nursing, geriatrics, or psychiatric nursing.
• Preferred: Minimum two years’ experience as a nursing services supervisor in a long-term care setting.

Responsabilités

• Develops and maintains a nursing service philosophy, objectives, standards of practice, policy and process manuals.
• Establishes systems for care planning, including assessments, plan of treatment, objectives and goals, evaluations and discharge planning.
• Responsible for recruiting, interviewing, hiring, disciplining, coaching, and conducting performance appraisals.
• Demonstrates understanding of certification laws, survey requirements and Medicare program.
• Ensures reporting departments meet state and federal licensure requirements for long-term care facilities and coordinates quality assurance programs.
• Directs the functions and activities of the ED in his/her absence.

Formation

Registered Nursing license (state)

Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing

Certification in Rehab Nursing, geriatrics, or psychiatric nursing
