Job summary

Arbor Springs, a 56-bed senior living community in Des Moines, IA, seeks a Director of Nursing to plan, organize, develop and direct the Nursing Department, ensuring the highest quality care and a positive environment.

The role requires an RN in good standing, strong leadership, and knowledge of long-term care regulations. You will guide a dedicated team and uphold dignity and respect for residents, while collaborating with the Administrator to maintain excellence.

Qualifications

• Must be a Registered Nurse in good standing and licensed per applicable requirements.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Must read and write legibly and understand English.
• Demonstrated leadership and supervisory skills.
• Experience in hospital, long-term care, or other healthcare facilities.

Responsibilities

• Plan, organize, develop and direct the Nursing Department operations.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state and local standards governing the facility.
• Direct care delivery to maintain the highest quality of care.
