Folkston Park Care & Rehab in Folkston, GA is seeking an experienced Director of Nursing for our 84-bed skilled nursing facility. The DON will provide overall clinical direction, ensure high-quality care, and coordinate between departments to meet resident needs.

The role requires Georgia RN licensure, 3–5 years in DON roles, and a focus on regulatory compliance. Duties include staff supervision, care planning, budget monitoring, and maintaining documentation.

Formación

• Georgia RN license in good standing
• 3–5 years DON experience
• Background check and reference inquiry required

Responsabilidades

• Ensures nursing staff provides quality resident care meeting regulatory and company standards
• Monitors monthly performance in relation to budget and intervenes as needed
• Schedules rounds to evaluate care quality and appropriateness
• Maintains charting and documentation accuracy for care and medications
• Recruits, hires, orients, trains, and retains qualified staff
• Develops staffing plan and nursing schedule in line with resident needs and budget
• Ensures records are maintained and submitted on time
• Evaluates residents to ensure appropriate level of care
• Maintains communication with Medical Director for program alignment
• Handles forms and documents per policy and state/federal regulations
• Manages clinical aspects of state/federal survey processes
• Performs other duties as assigned
