Folkston Park Care & Rehab located in Folkston, GA seeks an experienced Director of Nursing to lead clinical services for our 84-bed skilled nursing facility. You will oversee quality of care, coordinate between departments and supervise nursing staff to meet regulatory standards.

Expect hands-on leadership, ensuring accurate charting, adherence to care plans, and effective collaboration with the Medical Director.

Formación

• Georgia RN license in good standing.
• 3-5 years DON experience.

Responsabilidades

• Ensures nursing staff delivers quality, appropriate care meeting standards.
• Monitors monthly performance of nursing services relative to budget.
• Schedules resident rounds to assess care quality and appropriateness.
• Maintains charting and documentation of care and medications.
• Recruits, trains, and retains qualified staff; conducts timely appraisals.
• Develops staffing plan and nursing schedule within budget guidelines.
• Ensures required records are accurate and timely.
• Evaluates residents to ensure appropriate level of care.
• Maintains communication with Medical Director on care programs.
• Completes forms and documents per policy and regulations.
• Manages clinical aspects of state/federal surveys.
• Follows company policies and uses facility software.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
