Job summary

Advantage Recruiting Group is seeking an experienced Director of Nursing (DON) to lead the clinical operations of a skilled nursing facility in New Jersey. The DON will drive high-quality resident care, ensure regulatory compliance, and mentor a dedicated nursing team.

The ideal candidate holds an active RN license, prior DON/Assistant DON in LTC, strong leadership and clinical management skills, and excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.

Qualifications

• Current and active RN license (required).
• Previous experience as Director of Nursing or Assistant DON in LTC/SNF.
• Strong leadership and clinical management skills.
• Knowledge of state and federal long-term care regulations.
• Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving abilities.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all nursing department operations and clinical services.
• Ensure compliance with state, federal, and facility regulations.
• Lead, mentor, and support nursing staff to ensure quality care delivery.
• Develop and implement nursing policies, procedures, and care standards.
• Monitor clinical outcomes and drive continuous quality improvement.
• Manage staffing levels, scheduling, and staff performance.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to enhance resident care.
• Prepare for and manage survey readiness and regulatory inspections.
