Job summary
Concept Rehab & Engage Consulting in Cincinnati, OH is seeking a Director of Nursing (DON) to lead nursing services in a skilled nursing environment. This is a full-time leadership opportunity for an experienced RN who can build strong teams, improve clinical outcomes, and foster a positive culture of care.
The DON will oversee daily operations, ensure regulatory compliance, mentor staff, and collaborate with physicians, residents, families, and the interdisciplinary team to deliver
Qualifications
- Current RN license in Ohio.
- Previous nursing leadership experience preferred.
- DON, ADON, Unit Manager, Nurse Manager, or similar supervisory experience strongly preferred.
- Skilled nursing/long-term care experience preferred.
- Strong clinical, organizational, and communication skills.
- Ability to lead, motivate, and develop a nursing team.
- Commitment to providing compassionate, resident-centered care.
Responsibilities
- Provide leadership and direction to the nursing department
- Oversee day-to-day nursing operations and clinical services
- Support, coach, and develop nursing staff
- Monitor quality measures, documentation, and regulatory compliance
- Assist with surveys, audits, and implementation of corrective action plans
- Promote excellent resident care and safety
- Collaborate with physicians, residents, families, and interdisciplinary team members
- Monitor staffing and help ensure appropriate nursing coverage
- Build accountability while maintaining a positive and supportive team environment
