Job summary

Morningside Ministries seeks a Director of Nursing for our Menger Springs Senior Living Community in Boerne, TX. Lead nursing operations, ensure quality resident care, and manage staffing, budgeting, and compliance with regulations.

We value people-first service and teamwork, with a focus on professional development, policy implementation, and strong relationships with residents, families, and staff. Travel and coordination across departments may be required.

Qualifications

• Must be a graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Two years’ experience as a Registered Nurse in a clinical care setting; management experience preferred.
• State licensed as a Registered Nurse; valid driver’s license may be required.
• CPR certification and patient safety knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Plan, organize, staff, direct, and coordinate nursing services to render optimum resident care.
• Establish department objectives and organizational structure for nursing.
• Ensure compliance with state and federal regulations and hospital standards.
• Oversee budget, payroll, and cost containment for the unit; approve Nursing Service policies.
• Develop leaders and mentor nursing staff; conduct regular performance reviews.
