Job summary

StoneBridge Senior Living in Jefferson City, MO is seeking a Director of Nursing to oversee the nursing department, coordinate care, ensure quality of interventions and financial management of clinical services.

This role requires a proactive leader who can motivate, educate and mentor licensed and certified staff while collaborating with the interdisciplinary team to maintain regulatory compliance and resident well‑being.

Qualifications

• Nursing degree from an accredited college or university.
• Minimum of three years of supervisor experience in a hospital, nursing home, or related health care facility.
• Current unrestricted RN license in the practicing state.
• Knowledgeable of nursing and medical practices and regulations pertaining to long-term care.
• Current CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Plans and directs the overall operations of the Nursing Services department and its programs in accordance with state and federal laws.
• Interprets and communicates policies to nursing staff and monitors practices.
• Participates in admissions decisions.
• Manages staffing, budget and schedules to ensure regulatory compliance and quality care.
• Collaborates with the interdisciplinary team to improve service quality and resident outcomes.
• Participates in committees, infection control and survey readiness activities.
