Monarch Healthcare Management is seeking a Director of Nursing to lead nursing services, set standards of practice, oversee the RAI/MDS processes, and ensure quality care in compliance with federal, state, and local regulations. The DON will provide administrative authority, collaborate across departments, and guide staffing, scheduling, and budget adherence.

This role emphasizes building an inclusive culture, promoting patient safety, and ongoing staff education.

Qualifications

• Must be a Minnesota-licensed RN with training in rehabilitation, gerontology, nursing administration, management, supervision, or psychiatric/geriatric nursing.
• Must pass a criminal background check as required by the Minnesota Department of Human Services.
• Ability to communicate effectively and perform essential job functions with or without reasonable accommodation.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and maintain nursing service objectives and care delivery systems and provide leadership to nursing staff.
• Oversee RAI process, MDS coordination, care planning, and delivery of resident care to ensure quality and regulatory compliance.
• Manage staffing, scheduling, budget adherence, and equipment/supply levels in partnership with Administration.
• Foster a positive, inclusive workplace culture and ensure ongoing education and training for staff.
