Job summary

Monarch Healthcare Management seeks a Director of Nursing to lead nursing services across our Minnesota facilities. The role ensures high-quality care, coordinates with physicians and teams, and drives compliance with all regulations.

The DON will oversee RAI/MDS processes, supervise staff, manage budgets, and promote professional development while maintaining patient-centered care across Monarch’s network.

Qualifications

• Must be a Registered Nurse licensed by Minnesota.
• Training in rehabilitation nursing, gerontology, nursing service administration, management, supervision.
• Experience in healthcare, skilled nursing facility or assisted living.

Responsibilities

• Oversee RAI/MDS process and care planning with interdisciplinary teams.
• Direct total nursing care and ensure accurate documentation.
• Ensure regulatory compliance and quality improvement initiatives.
• Oversee medication management and regulatory reporting.
• Manage staffing, budgeting and department efficiency.
• Lead staff meetings, education and audits.
