Job summary

BrightStar Care of Honolulu is seeking a Director of Nursing (RN) to lead clinical care across Oahu, from personal care to skilled nursing and infusion. You will own the clinical department, grow the team, and work hands-on when needed.

The role reports to the COO, offers a leadership seat, a competitive salary, full benefits, and a PRN nursing pool. Hawaii RN license required, several years of nursing leadership, Joint Commission experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Requires Hawaii RN license and current BLS/CPR; BSN preferred.
• Three+ years of nursing leadership or clinical management experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead assessments, plans of care, orders and supervisory visits.
• Ensure timely response to urgent changes in condition and routine alerts.
• Coach and develop the clinical team and grow PRN nurse pool.
• Oversee caregiver training, documentation and quality initiatives.
• Maintain Joint Commission readiness and quarterly quality meetings.
• Provide direct clinical care when needed.
