Job summary

Key-Whitman Eye Center Grapevine ASC in Grapevine, TX seeks a Director of Nursing to lead day-to-day operations of the ambulatory surgery center. You will oversee scheduling, QA/QI, staffing, inventory, safety, and compliance to ensure high-quality patient care and efficient OR flow.

The ideal candidate is a graduate of an accredited nursing program with RN licensure, BLS/ACLS, ophthalmology experience, and knowledge of IOLs.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing and current state Registered Nurse License required.
• BLS and ACLS certifications also required.
• Ophthalmology surgical experience preferred.
• Knowledge of IOLs and MIGS.
• Survey readiness AAAHC.
• Comprehensive health, dental, and vision insurance provided.

Responsibilities

• Monitor day-to-day internal flow and operations of the ASC.
• Assist in Pre-Op, PACU, and OR; coordinate OR activity.
• Maintain adherence to operating policies/procedures.
• Oversee staffing, payroll and employee records.
• Lead QA/QI initiatives and risk management activities.
• Ensure patient safety and quality of care across departments.
