Job summary

Delray Medical Center is seeking an Emergency Department Registered Nurse to lead clinical and administrative activities within the department, ensuring cost-effective, high-quality patient care in alignment with hospital policies and regulatory standards.

The role requires strong clinical expertise, 5+ years nursing experience with emphasis on emergency care, and active Florida RN licensure with BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing required.
• Masters Degree preferred in Nursing, Education, Management or related field.
• Nationally certified in area of specialty preferred.
• Five (5) years Nursing experience required; Three to Five years Emergency Nursing preferred.
• Working knowledge of Quality Improvement process and TJC standards.
• Registered Nurse - licensed in the State of Florida. BLS (AHA), ACLS, PALS.

• The Emergency Department Registered Nurse is responsible for the assessment, planning, interventions, and evaluations which facilitate patient care.
• Teaching patients and significant others information concerning health care needs is essential to the care giving process.

Job Summary

Responsible for the administrative and clinical aspects of the clinical department/unit(s) to include organizing, developing, directing, and assuring the delivery of cost effective, quality patient care. Ensures that patient care on the unit(s) is performed in accordance with established corporate and hospital policies and procedures, Federal and State regulations, and TJC and ANA standards.

CERTIFICATIONS:

• Registered Nurse - licensed in the State of Florida. BLS (AHA), ACLS, PALS

OTHER QUALIFICATIONS:

• TNCC preferred
• CEN preferre
