Veracity Ventures Inc. seeks a dynamic Nursing Director to lead our Emergency Department in Petaluma, California. This full-time role oversees nursing operations, staffing, quality and safety, regulatory compliance, and staff development to ensure exceptional patient care.

The ideal candidate will bring progressive nursing leadership, ED expertise, budgeting acumen, and a collaborative approach with physicians and senior leadership to advance strategic aims and system-wide improvements.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Nursing, Business, Healthcare Administration, or a related field is required.
• One degree must be in Nursing.
• Active Michigan RN license is required.
• Current specialty nursing certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee Emergency Department nursing operations, staffing, quality, patient care, and regulatory compliance.
• Lead staff development, recruitment, retention and professional growth.
• Manage budget development and financial performance.
• Collaborate with physicians and senior nursing/clinical leadership.

Veracity Ventures Inc. is seeking a dynamic and experienced Nursing Director to lead our Emergency Department in Petaluma, California. This is a full-time leadership position responsible for overseeing Emergency Department nursing operations, staffing, quality, patient care, financial performance, regulatory compliance, and staff development.

Key Skills & Experience:

• Progressive nursing leadership/management experience
• Strong Emergency Department/acute-care leadership background
• Experience managing nursing staff, recruitment, staffing, retention, and professional development
• Experience with nursing operations and multidisciplinary patient services
• Budget development and financial performance management
• Quality improvement, patient safety, and patient satisfaction experience
• Knowledge of nursing standards, hospital policies, licensing requirements, and regulatory compliance
• Experience working with physicians and senior nursing/clinical leadership
• Experience with Joint Commission/JCAHO requirements and healthcare regulatory standards
• Ability to develop and implement policies, procedures, goals, and nursing standardsStrong communication, collaboration, and leadership skills
• Experience supporting strategic planning and system-wide improvement initiatives

Education & Licensure:

• Master’s degree in Nursing, Business, Healthcare Administration, or a related field is required
