Job summary
Veracity Ventures Inc. seeks a dynamic Nursing Director to lead our Emergency Department in Petaluma, California. This full-time role oversees nursing operations, staffing, quality and safety, regulatory compliance, and staff development to ensure exceptional patient care.
The ideal candidate will bring progressive nursing leadership, ED expertise, budgeting acumen, and a collaborative approach with physicians and senior leadership to advance strategic aims and system-wide improvements.
Qualifications
- Master’s degree in Nursing, Business, Healthcare Administration, or a related field is required.
- One degree must be in Nursing.
- Active Michigan RN license is required.
- Current specialty nursing certification is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Oversee Emergency Department nursing operations, staffing, quality, patient care, and regulatory compliance.
- Lead staff development, recruitment, retention and professional growth.
- Manage budget development and financial performance.
- Collaborate with physicians and senior nursing/clinical leadership.
- Drive quality improvement and patient safety initiatives, aligned with system-wide goals.
