Job summary

Pro Med Healthcare Services in Lantana, FL is seeking a full-time Director of Nursing for its treatment center. The DON will provide strategic and operational leadership for nursing and medical support services to ensure safe, evidence-based, trauma-informed patient care and compliance with regulatory standards.

The role requires a BSN (MSN preferred), an active Florida RN license, and 3–5+ years of progressive nursing leadership in behavioral health or detox.

Qualifications

• BSN required and active Florida RN license.
• 3–5+ years nursing leadership in behavioral health or detox.
• Experience with dual-diagnosis treatment and withdrawal protocols.
• Strong ability to lead across interdisciplinary teams.
• Knowledge of state and federal standards and inspections.

Responsibilities

• Lead nursing care across detox, residential, PHP and IOP.
• Recruit, hire, onboard, schedule, train, mentor, and evaluate RNs and LPNs.
• Maintain readiness for inspections and manage QA and risk.
• Develop and enforce nursing policies, medical protocols, and withdrawal procedures.
• Collaborate with Medical Directors, Psychiatrists and therapy teams.
• Oversee budgets, staffing ratios, and supply inventories.
