Job summary

Montefiore Nyack Hospital is seeking a Nursing Data Analyst to support Nursing Administration by collecting, validating, and presenting data on clinical, operational, quality, staffing, and patient flow factors.

You will develop dashboards, recurring reports, and ad hoc analyses, promoting data governance and reliable reporting while partnering with the CNO and nursing leadership to drive decisions and improve patient care.

Qualifications

BS degree in data analytics, healthcare administration, health informatics or related field.
Healthcare or hospital experience preferred.
Experience with clinical, nursing, staffing or patient-flow data recommended.
Experience developing reports or dashboards for leadership and operations.
Strong analytical and critical thinking skills.

Responsibilities

Create clear visualizations and concise interpretations of analytical data for Nursing department and leadership.
Produce accurate data reflecting nursing indicators, scorecards and projects.
Present data findings to clinical, operational, technical and executive stakeholders.
Collaborate daily with Nursing leadership to determine operational needs.
Extract and collate data from EPIC (EHR).
