Job summary

ChristianaCare Health System in Delaware is seeking a Nursing Coordinator to oversee staffing adjustments and bed coordination for the Department of Nursing. This role serves as an administrative resource to nursing staff, physicians, and ancillary departments, coordinating with the on-call administrator.

Location involves night shifts, 72 hours per pay period, with potential rotations to affiliated hospitals.

Qualifications

• BSN required.
• Three (3) years of Nursing experience in an acute care facility required.
• Management/leadership experience preferred (Charge Nurse experience at minimum).
• BCLS required; ACLS preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate staffing adjustments and patient placement/bed coordination for the Department of Nursing.
• Serve as an administrative resource to nursing personnel, physicians, and other departments.
• Support night shift operations and ensure staff coverage per the department guidelines.

The purpose of this role is to serve as an administrative resource to nursing personnel, physicians, ancillary departments, and the administrator on call.

Hours: This position is for 72 hours per pay period. This is a Night shift position with 12 hour shifts. This position is full time flex, benefit eligible position.

The Nursing Coordinator will work at Christiana Hospital with possible rotations to the Wilmington Hospital, as needed. Holidays and Weekends per the guidelines of the department.

Hourly Pay Range: $45.47 - $72.77 This pay rate/range represents ChristianaCare’s good faith and reasonable estimate of compensation at the time of posting. The actual salary within this range offered to a successful candidate will depend on individual factors including without limitation skills, relevant experience, and qualifications as they relate to specific job requirements.
