Job summary

Ivy Tech Community College is seeking adjunct nursing faculty in Indiana to deliver didactic and clinical instruction. You will create engaging learning experiences, develop syllabi and assessments, and maintain student records in alignment with college policies.

You will also model professional behavior, leverage instructional technologies, and ensure safety in classrooms and labs. This is an as-needed, per-semester appointment.

Qualifications

• Licensed nurse in Indiana with at least one year of nursing experience.
• Completion of Indiana DoH Train-the-Trainer or possession of Workplace Specialist License.
• Strong instructional technology and diverse-learners knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Deliver classes per course objectives and college policy.
• Use technology to enhance instruction.
• Develop syllabi, lesson plans, assignments, tests, and maintain records.
• Engage with students with active teaching strategies to enhance learning.
• Interact professionally with students and staff, comply with policies.
• Implement classroom safety and emergency procedures.
