Job summary

The Wellington at Southport in Indianapolis, IN is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant to join our resident care team. You will assist residents with dressing, grooming, bathing, and transfers to support quality living in our Assisted Living and Memory Care community.

Responsibilities include monitoring nutritional needs, assisting with medications reminders and documentation, and communicating changes to the Assisted Living Director to ensure safety and compassionate care.

Qualifications

• High school graduate or GED preferred.
• Must be licensed in the state as a Certified Nursing Assistant and maintain licensure.

Responsibilities

• Performs duties in accordance with accepted standards of resident care, including dressing, grooming, bathing, and escorts/transfers.
• Assists residents with nutritional needs, including setting dining tables, serving meals, providing proper fluids, and substitutions when appropriate.
• Reminds residents to take medication and helps with opening containers and packages.
• Recognizes changes in residents' behavior/conditions and reports them to the Assisted Living Director.
