Job summary

Waterstone of Grayson, a Sonida Senior Living community, is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant to support residents across independent living, assisted living and memory care settings. You will assist with dressing, grooming, bathing, escorts and transfers, while maintaining residents' dignity and safety.

Qualifications

• Must be licensed in the state as a Certified Nursing Assistant.
• High school diploma or GED preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist with dressing, grooming, bathing, and escorts and transfers.
• Assist residents with nutritional needs, including setting dining tables and serving meals.
• Remind residents to take medication and open containers for residents.
• Recognize changes in residents' behavior and conditions and report to the Assisted Living Director.

Education

Eligibility based on location

Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) Responsibilities include:

• Performs duties in accordance with accepted standards of resident care. Duties include assisting with dressing, grooming, bathing, and escorts and transfers
• Assists residents with nutritional needs, including setting dining tables, serving meals, providing proper fluid requirements, and offering substitutions when appropriate
• Reminding residents to take medication and opening containers and packages for residents
• Recognizes changes in the residents' behavior and conditions and reports those changes to the Assisted Living Director

Qualifications:

• High school graduate or GED preferred
• Must be licensed in the state as a Certified Nursing Assistant and maintain current, active, and unencumbered licensure.
