Riverside Hospital in Newport News, Virginia, is seeking a Nursing Clinical/Lab Instructor I to oversee clinical, laboratory, and simulation supervision, and to evaluate students in delivery of clinical education courses.

The full-time faculty member designs, implements, teaches, and revises curriculum; supports admissions, progression, retention, graduation policies; and provides advisement and counseling to students. Ongoing scholarly activity and service are expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in nursing required.
• 3-4 years clinical nursing experience required.
• CPR/BLS certification required (AHA/ARC/AHI).
• Registered Nurse (RN) license in Virginia required.

Responsabilités

• Provide clinical, laboratory, and simulation instruction aligned with course outcomes and program goals.
• Assess student learning and provide timely feedback and remediation.
• Supervise and evaluate student performance in clinical and skills-learning environments; ensure safe nursing practice.
• Maintain accurate student, clinical, and evaluation records.
• Collaborate with clinical partners, faculty, and staff to support student success.
• Contribute to curriculum implementation, program evaluation, and accreditation-related activities.
• Attend faculty meetings, participate in committees, and support program/college initiatives.
