Riverside Health System in Newport News, Virginia, seeks a Nursing Clinical/Lab Instructor I to supervise and evaluate students in clinical, laboratory, and simulation settings. The role designs, implements, teaches, and revises the nursing curriculum for residential and distance education, while supporting admissions, progression, and graduation processes.

Formación

• BSN required.
• 3-4 years clinical nursing experience.
• CPR/BLS certification required.
• RN licensure with Virginia Department of Health Professions (VDHP).

Responsabilidades

• Complete required orientation and annual instructional scholarly activity & professional development as required by accreditation and regulatory bodies.
• Provide clinical, laboratory, and simulation instruction aligned with course and end‑of‑program outcomes.
• Demonstrate and teach nursing skills, clinical judgment, and professional behaviors; assess student learning with timely feedback and remediation.
• Supervise and evaluate student performance in clinical and skills labs; ensure safe nursing practice and compliance with standards.
• Maintain accurate student, clinical, and evaluation records.
• Collaborate with clinical partners, faculty, and staff to support student success.
• Participate in curriculum implementation, program evaluation, and accreditation activities; attend faculty meetings and serve on committees.

Conocimientos

RN license
