Job summary

The State of Georgia is seeking a Nursing Clinical/Lab Instructor to deliver theory and practical instruction across day, evening, and online programs, with potential assignments to PN or ADN tracks based on program needs.

Applicants must hold a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from a regionally accredited institution, be licensed as a registered nurse in Georgia, and have BLS certification with at least 3 years of nursing experience within the last seven years.

Qualifications

• BSN from a regionally accredited institution with a GA RN license
• BLS (CPR) certification from the American Heart Association
• Minimum of 3 years nursing experience in the past 7 years

Responsibilities

• Instructs theory and practical applications of the discipline in accordance with state standards
• Learns and uses lab/clinic coursework that simulates industry environments
• Evaluates students’ progress and grades coursework in a timely manner
• Maintains program certification/accreditation requirements for the discipline
• Prepares and maintains required documentation and administrative reports
• Attends professional development training, workshops, and conferences
