Job summary

The State of Georgia is hiring a Nursing Clinical Adjunct Instructor to teach nursing courses in clinical and lab settings. You will apply current nursing practices and guide students through hands-on competencies.

Responsibilities include preparing documentation, ensuring safety standards, and communicating progress with students and colleagues. Evening and weekend clinicals may be required, with a focus on diverse learners.

Qualifications

• Associate Degree in RN and demonstrated competence/experience in the teaching discipline.
• Valid Georgia RN license and current BLS (CPR) Certification from the American Heart Association
• Minimum of 3 years nursing experience in the past 7 years.

Responsibilities

• Teaches nursing courses in a clinical/lab environment; maintains knowledge of current trends and developments in the field.
• Prepares and maintains all required documentation and administrative reports required for clinical.
• Ensures safety and security requirements are met in the discipline area; meets with students, staff members and other educators to discuss students’ progress.
• Position may require committee and project assignments or other duties as assigned as well as day, evening, and weekend clinicals and activities.
