Orbis Education partners with Concordia University in St. Paul to deliver an Accelerated BSN program.

The Clinical Lab Instructor oversees students in clinical and lab settings, including online learning components, to ensure adherence to the nursing curriculum and academic goals. The role requires a BSN, RN licensure in Minnesota, and evidence of clinical practice; teaching experience is preferred, with opportunities for MSN pursuit.

Qualifications

• Evidence of 3 years of successful professional nursing practice.
• Evidence of 2 years of teaching experience (preferred).
• Ability to provide a supportive learning environment for students.
• Maintains clinical competence and knowledge in area of expertise.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate effective student learning in the clinical/lab setting and via the online learning environment
• Provide adequate guidance for students in the clinical/lab setting related to professionalism, practice, and research
• Collaborate effectively with the Healthcare Partner and its staff and support clinical adjunct faculty when needed
• Maintain and teach current knowledge of the approved nursing curriculum, policies, and requirements
• Maintains clinical competence and knowledge in area of expertise
