As a Nursing Clinical Adjunct Instructor and extended faculty member, you will guide ABSN students through clinical education in partner facilities. Responsibilities include facilitating learning, ensuring professional practice, organizing learning activities, evaluating student performance, and collaborating with faculty and the healthcare partner.

Qualifications

• Two years of teaching experience is required.
• Two years of successful clinical nursing practice required.
• Master’s degree in nursing is required; enrolled in Master’s with anticipated completion within 12 months is acceptable.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate effective student learning in the assigned clinical setting.
• Provide guidance for students in professionalism, practice, and research.
• Selects and organizes learning activities to meet course objectives.
• Ensure effective evaluations of student practice.
• Promote evidence-based practice.
• Provide a supportive learning environment by giving feedback to supervisory personnel.
• Collaborate with other faculty and the healthcare partner staff.
• Attend all required orientation, training and faculty meetings.
