Job summary

Jobtailor seeks a Nursing instructor to lead off-campus clinical teaching and lab instruction in Columbus, OH. The role centers on fostering a positive learning environment and ensuring comprehensive coverage of the clinical component of the curriculum.

You will evaluate student progress, participate in Faculty Organization and Campus Curriculum Committees, and ensure credentialing requirements, BLS, and an active Ohio RN license are maintained.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Nursing is required.
• Two or more years full-time work experience as a RN (or part-time equivalent).
• Active Ohio RN license that has never been encumbered.
• Ability to provide official transcripts for each degree earned from an accredited institution.
• Current American Heart Association compliant Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Completion of key credentialing requirements for clinical placements prior to being cleared for start.

Responsibilities

• Instruct students off campus at our clinical sites and/or in a lab setting.
• Promote a positive learning environment and work collaboratively to assure full instruction of the clinical component of the curriculum.
• Create a high level of student engagement by planning the student clinical experience.
• Supervise and orient students to the clinical site as well as to all applicable policies and procedures.
• Evaluate each student’s achievement and progress, providing valuable feedback.
• Participate as a member of the Faculty Organization and Campus Curriculum Committees.
