Job summary

Grand Rapids Community College seeks an Adjunct Instructor to teach nursing clinicals in Fall 2026 for the Grand Rapids area. The schedule includes mornings and other shifts as outlined in the posting.

The adjunct will deliver course content, foster a stimulating classroom environment, follow syllabus templates, and use department-approved textbooks while maintaining accurate student records. Required qualifications include a BSN from an accredited program, 4000 hours of recent RN experience,

Qualifications

• BSN from an accredited institution.
• 4000 hours recent experience as a Registered Nurse.
• Michigan RN Licensure.
• Teaching experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Teach nursing clinicals and fulfill adjunct faculty responsibilities.
• Foster a stimulating classroom environment and follow syllabus templates.
• Maintain accurate student records and provide accommodations as per ADA guidelines.
• Respond to communications promptly and ensure access to course information.
• Perform tasks normally expected of adjunct faculty and comply with GRCC policies.
