Job summary

South College is seeking an experienced Nursing Clinical Coordinator to oversee clinical site partnerships, scheduling, and program alignment with accreditation standards in Indianapolis, IN. This role involves coordinating faculty and adjuncts, ensuring compliance, and maintaining strong site relations.

The successful candidate will hold a BSN and active IN RN licensure, with 3+ years of clinical RN experience and teaching or administrative exposure preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) is required.
• Master’s or higher degree in nursing preferred.
• Active, unencumbered registered nursing license in the state of IN required.
• Minimum three years of full-time clinical experience as an RN.
• Clinical teaching experience preferred.
• Administrative, managerial, or HR experience preferred.
• Able to work independently as well as with a group to meet deadlines.
• Organized, accountable, and proactive in problem-solving and continuous process improvement.

Responsibilities

• Establish and maintain clinical site partnerships, ensuring all affiliation agreements are current and compliant with standards.
• Oversee documentation and timely renewal of clinical contracts per policy.
• Lead clinical site evaluations and collaborate to ensure quality and program alignment.
• Serve as the primary liaison between South College Nursing Programs, clinical sites, and faculty.
• Plan, coordinate, and schedule student clinical rotations to align with curriculum goals.
• Provide clinical sites with required documentation prior to placement start dates.
• Coordinate evaluations of clinical sites, student experiences, and faculty performance.
• Address clinical placement or instructional concerns with program coordinators and faculty.
