Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in nursing is required.
• At least two years in a clinical environment.
• Current Iowa RN licensure is required.
• Experience leading or training others is needed.
• Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills are required.
• Excellent time management and attention to detail.
• Master’s degree in nursing is preferred.
• Experience in higher education is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinates staffing of adjunct clinical instructors based on enrollment.
• Hires, develops, trains and motivates adjunct instructors, with regular feedback.
• Establishes and maintains relationships with clinical sites and preceptors.
• Participates in quality improvement opportunities.
• Performs miscellaneous duties as assigned.
• Contributes to the school-wide strategy for experiential learning in clinical education and simulation.
• Assists in developing policies and procedures for clinical, experiential and simulation learning.
• Coordinates clinical, experiential and simulation learning experiences with program faculty and staff.
