Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree required.
Current Illinois RN license.
CRRN required within 6 months of hire date or eligibility.
Maintains current AHA BLS Provider certification.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to interact with patients, families and medical personnel.
Proficient with PC-based applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
Demonstrates problem-solving abilities.

Responsibilities

Provides leadership support to nurse manager for unit daily management and program management.
Monitors nursing staffing, operational and care needs to assure resources for quality patient care.
Maintains safe staffing levels and assists with staff scheduling and evaluations.
Assists with interviews for nursing positions and HR coordination.
Leads performance improvement activities and ensures policy adherence.
