Job summary

AdventHealth Orlando is seeking an RN education instructor to teach students during clinical rounds and collaborate with the course coordinator on curriculum development.

You will mentor learners, assess performance, and provide guidance in clinical settings while balancing in-person and online delivery methods.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Nursing preferred.
• 2+ years of professional experience in the discipline being taught.
• RN licensure in Florida or eligibility.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification preferred.
• Ability to teach in both face-to-face and online environments.

Responsibilities

• Teaches students during clinical rounds and pre/post conferences.
• Develops, designs, and delivers instruction with the course coordinator.
• Grades clinical assignments and reviews evaluations with students.
• Provides mentorship to students in clinical settings.
• Maintains accurate records of student performance and progress.

Education

Master's of Nursing

2+ years in the discipline

Job Description:

• Teaches students during their clinical rounds and pre/post conferences.
• Other duties as assigned
• Supports and enforces the course syllabus in collaboration with the course coordinator.
• Develops, designs, and delivers instruction in collaboration with the course coordinator.
• Grades clinical assignments and reviews evaluations with students.
• Provides guidance and mentorship to students in clinical settings.
• Collaborates with faculty and staff to ensure cohesive and comprehensive educational experiences.
• Participates in curriculum development and assessment activities.
• Maintains accurate records of student performance and progress.
• Engages in professional development to stay current with educational practices and clinical advancements.
• Communicates effectively with students, faculty, and community partners.
