Job summary

Qualifications

• Minimum one year experience as Nursing Attendant in an acute hospital or related setting.
• Current enrollment in an approved RN or LVN program may substitute for 1 year of experience.
• Certification as a Nursing Assistant or completion of a Nursing Attendant course is required.

Responsibilities

• Upholds Kaiser Permanente policies and procedures and complies with applicable laws.
• Communicates effectively within the chain of command and with the health care team.
• Prioritizes assignments to ensure timely patient care and notifies the RN if unable to complete tasks.
• Maintains patient confidentiality and ensures a clean, organized care environment.
• Participates in departmental performance improvement and uses computer systems for documentation.
