Hospital for Special Care in New Britain, CT, seeks a Nursing Associate to join our per diem team in the First Shift. You will work under the direction of a licensed nurse to assist in patient care, participate in interdisciplinary rounds, and document care activities.

The role requires a nursing student enrolled in a CT program with at least 100 hours of theory and clinical instruction. English reading/writing is required; basic computer knowledge is preferred and may be used for documentation.

Qualifications

• Nursing student currently enrolled in an accredited Connecticut nursing school program that has completed a minimum of 100 hours of theoretical and clinical instruction in the fundamental skills of nursing.
• Must be able to read, write and understand instructions in English.
• Basic computer knowledge is preferred.

Responsabilités

• Assist in the care of a group of patients under the direction and supervision of a licensed nurse.
• Provide care under the direction and supervision of a licensed nurse.
• Document in a timely and accurate manner adhering to hospital policies and procedures.
• Complete assigned tasks and communicate effectively with the team.
