WellSpan Gettysburg Hospital is seeking a patient care support role responsible for direct patient care, vital signs collection, and assisting with daily activities. The role includes performing EKGs and Point-of-Care testing, under supervision, and training new staff as needed.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma or GED and at least some related experience. BLS is required at hire, CNA preferred, with rotating shifts and 24 hours per 6 weeks.

Formación

• Performs general nursing care and ADLs for patients.
• Takes and documents vital signs and routine measurements.
• Performs EKGs and Point-of-Care testing with quality control.

Responsabilidades

• Provides patient care including activities of daily living.
• Monitors patient condition and reports changes to RN.
• Assists with tubing removal and safety procedures.
