Job summary

Avamere Living Keizer Court seeks a Nursing Assistant-Unlicensed to provide routine resident care under licensed nurses, for up to 120 days after graduation from the program. Location: 5210 River Rd North, Keizer, OR.

You will support daily living activities and ensure comfort and safety for residents according to care plans. Ideal candidates have completed a Nursing Assistant program in Oregon, hold active CPR/BLS, and show a real passion for enhancing residents' quality of life in a caring,

Qualifications

• Graduated from a Nursing Assistant Program in the state of Oregon.
• Must maintain active CPR/BLS during employment.
• Demonstrate a passion for caregiving and improving residents' quality of life.

Responsibilities

• Check residents' personal care needs per their preferences.
• Review care plans daily and note changes.
• Inform nurse supervisor of condition changes for care plan updates.
• Assist with daily activities and transportation to appointments.
• Create a warm, patient, cheerful environment.
• Ensure rooms are ready and residents are comfortable.
• Communicate resident information to charge nurses and admins.

Job Summary

The primary responsibility as a Nursing Assistant is to provide each of your assigned residents with routine daily nursing care and services in accordance with the residents' assessment and care plan under the supervision of licensed nurses for up to 120 days of graduating from the Nursing Assistant program.

Essential Duties and Job Responsibilities

• Check each resident routinely to ensure that his/her personal care needs are being met in accordance with his/her wishes.
• Review resident care plans daily to determine if changes in the resident's daily care
• routine have been made on the care plan.
• Inform the nurse supervisor of any changes in the resident's condition so that
• appropriate information can be entered into the resident's care plan.
• Assist residents with daily needs, including preparation for activity and social programs, and transporting residents to/from appointments.
• Create and uphold an atmosphere of warmth, patience, enthusiasm, and foster a calm and cheerful environment.
• Ensure residents' rooms are ready for receiving and help residents feel comfortable.
• Participate in facility surveys by authorized government agencies.
• Effectively communicate necessary resident information to charge nurses, director of nursing, and/or administrator

Requirements

• Graduated from a Nursing Assistant Program in the State this position is in.
• Must maintain and have active CPR/BLS during employment
• Have a passion for caregiving and enhancing the quality of life for our residents(SC1)
