Good Samaritan is seeking a Nursing Assistant Trainee for a part-time, hybrid training program in Albert Lea, MN. Under supervision, trainees provide personal care to residents and work with a preceptor to complete the CNA program.

The role supports the care team, documents care activities, and helps meet residents' physical, cognitive, and emotional needs. Applicants must be at least 16 years old; CNA licensure is required within four months of employment.

Qualifications

• High school graduate or GED preferred, but not required.
• Prior clinical or nursing assistant experience in long-term care preferred.
• CNA license must be obtained within four months of employment.

Responsibilities

• Assist with personal care under the supervision of a licensed nurse.
• Work with a preceptor to fulfill training requirements in the program.
• Document client care and communicate changes to the licensed nurse.
