Qualifications

• High school graduate or GED preferred but not required.
• Minimum age of 16; prior clinical or nursing assistant experience in long-term care preferred.
• CNA license required within four months of employment.
• For applicable states, certified and registered with the UAP Registry.
• May be classified as a Sanford Category II Driver requiring a motor vehicle check and valid license.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care and assist with activities of daily living under supervision.
• Work with clients and families to meet physical, cognitive, spiritual, emotional, and social needs.
• Document client care and communicate changes to licensed staff.
• Assist with transfers, positioning, ROM exercises, walking, meals, and basic health tasks.
