Cape Cod Hospital in Hyannis, MA is seeking a Nursing Assistant trainee to join the nursing team. The role progresses through an apprenticeship program with on-the-job training and required certifications, contributing to patient care under RN supervision.
You will participate in the nursing process, maintain care plans, and attend required meetings. The position requires English proficiency and completion of the Cape Cod Hospital Nursing Assistant Training program with eventual transfer to a
Formación
- Ability to read, write and communicate in English.
- Obtain BLS Certification upon completion of Apprenticeship or Will-Train program.
- Completion of Nursing Assistant Apprenticeship Program within 6 months of hire.
- Transfer to Nursing Assistant Grade S7 after program completion.
- Current Basic Life Support Certification and CPI training within 6 months of hire.
Responsabilidades
- Participates in nursing process during delivery of patient care.
- Assists in providing nursing care and data collection under RN.
- Implements formal care plan under RN supervision.
- Attends mandatory programs and unit staff meetings.
- Adheres to safety policies regarding blood/body fluids.
- Maintains confidentiality and represents hospital positively.
- Provides service excellence to patients, families and staff.
- Performs other duties as assigned by supervisor.
- Supports orientation of new personnel.
