Responsibilities

Job Summary

This job involves providing support to an assigned work unit, ensuring a clean environment for patient care, assisting with patient mobility, and maintaining equipment. It offers practical work experience and clinical training for transition to healthcare roles such as CNA. Responsibilities include furnishing information, clerical support, and related tasks. Work is performed under supervision, adhering to confidentiality, safety, and standard practices. Essential Job Functions

• Transport patients safely and comfortably.
• Assist with lifting, turning, and transporting patients under supervision.
• Perform housekeeping duties: restocking supplies, cleaning, and room preparation.
• Assist with equipment maintenance and stock management.
• Perform clerical tasks, support projects, and handle data entry.
• Support inpatient floors, including bedside visits and specimen transport.
• Deliver food trays to patients.
• Serve as a resource for patients and visitors, addressing inquiries and concerns.
• Perform other duties within the scope of an unlicensed individual.

Qualifications
