Naamans Creek Country Manor is offering a CNA Trainee program designed to train you to become a Certified Nursing Assistant. The schedule runs Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, for about five weeks with a two-week pre-class portion and a three-week classroom segment.

Paid training is provided. No CNA experience is required; you will learn bedside care, resident assistance, infection control, and documentation while working closely with nursing staff to support residents with daily living

About the Program

As a CNA Trainee, you will receive hands-on experience and CNA classroom training.

• Paid training
• Pre-Class Training: Approximately 2 weeks
• CNA Classes: 3 weeks
• Class Days: Monday-Friday
• Class Hours: 8:00 AM-4:00 PM
• Class Size: 4 trainees per session

The program typically begins with two weeks of on-site training before the three-week classroom portion starts. The overall training timeline is approximately five weeks.

Responsibilities

During your training, you will learn how to:

• Assist residents with daily living activities, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and eating.
• Support residents with mobility and other activities while promoting comfort, safety, and dignity.
• Observe residents and report changes in their condition to nursing staff.
• Maintain a clean, safe environment by following infection control and safety procedures.
• Communicate effectively with residents, families, and healthcare team members.
• Complete assigned training and coursework to develop the skills needed for CNA certification.

All resident care duties will be performed in accordance with facility policies, training requirements, and applicable supervision guidelines.
