Pine Ridge Rehabilitation & Healthcare Center in Pagosa Springs, CO is currently hiring Nursing Assistant Trainees to join our team and prepare for the Nurse Aide Training Program. The six-week program will begin October 5 and include lectures Mondays and Tuesdays from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM, with hands-on skills training and clinical requirements overall.

Completion leads to the State Certification Test and CNA certification.

Qualifications

• Willingness to complete Nurse Aide Training Program.
• CPR certification preferred.
• Long-term care experience preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with activities of daily living.
• Support the nursing team and provide compassionate resident care.

Nursing Assistant Trainee Job Qualifications:

• Current CNA certification or willingness to complete the Nurse Aide Training Program

Lecture Schedule:

Mondays and Tuesdays

Time:

9:00 AM–12:00 PM

The six‑week lecture portion of the program will run from October 5 through November 10.

Students will also complete required skills training and clinical requirements as part of the Nurse Aide Training Program.

Completion of the training program will prepare students to take the State Certification Test and pursue CNA certification.
