• Provides designated and specified patient care to assigned patients under direct supervision, consultation and notification of a licensed nurse according to physicians' orders and approved patient care standards.
• Records graphics, intake and output, and ADLs in the computer and flow sheet accurately and implements measures to promote a safe environment for patients and others.
• Communicates with patients and families with sensitivity to psychosocial needs.
• Assists in the cleaning and sanitation of equipment and supplies.
• Reports objective observations to the licensed nurse to assist in care-planning.
