Qualifications

• 6 months - 1 year related experience.
• BLS Certification.
• Unit specific competencies obtained within six months of hire or transfer date.

Responsibilities

• Provides designated and specified patient care to assigned patients under the direct supervision of a licensed nurse.
• Records graphics, intake and output, and ADLs in the computer and flow sheets.
• Maintains safe environment and uses equipment safely and effectively.
• Communicates observations to the licensed nurse to assist care planning.
• Interacts with patients and families with sensitivity to psychosocial needs.
• Assists in cleaning and sanitation of equipment and supplies.
