Americare Senior Living is seeking a compassionate Certified Nurse Aide (CNA) to provide essential, hands-on care in a skilled nursing community. You will support residents’ physical, emotional, and daily needs while maintaining a safe, clean environment and working with a caring team.

The role requires a valid CNA certification and high school diploma or equivalent; prior long-term care experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Must be 16 years of age or older.
• Valid CNA certification in the state of employment.
• Experience in skilled nursing or long-term care preferred, but not required.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care and assistance with activities of daily living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
• Assist with transfers, lifting, repositioning, and mobility as needed.
• Observe, document, and report changes in resident condition and care provided.
• Support restorative nursing and therapy activities as directed.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and homelike environment for residents.
• Report accidents, incidents, or concerns involving residents, staff, or visitors.
• Work collaboratively with nursing staff and interdisciplinary team members.
• Follow all safety procedures, including proper lifting techniques and use of required safety equipment.
