Job summary

Providence Alaska Medical Center in Anchorage, AK seeks a Nursing Assistant for a part-time 0.6 FTE, 24 hours per week with 8-hour variable shifts. Required: National Provider BLS (American Heart Association) within 30 days of hire.

Preferred: CNA training and 6 months healthcare experience. Administrative duties are secondary.

We are hiring for Nursing Assistant position at Providence Alaska Medical Center in Anchorage, AK!

Under direct supervision of a primary caregiver provides patient care support by performing tasks that assist in the care and treatment of patients with illness or injuries, taking into account the patient's physical and age-related needs. Assists patients with activities of daily living and selective procedures. Collaborates with team members to coordinate unit activities and flow of information between teams and other entities.

Required Qualifications

• National Provider BLS - American Heart Association within 30 days of hire.

Preferred Qualifications

• Completed training as a Certified Nursing Assistant.


• 6 months completion of CNA program or six months of health care.


• Administrative experience in a healthcare setting.
