Job summary

Baylor Scott & White Institute for Rehabilitation in Fort Worth, TX is seeking a PRN Nursing Assistant for night shifts from 6:45 p.m. to 7:15 a.m.

The role supports inpatient rehabilitation patients with daily living activities, vital signs, and mobility assistance. Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or 3+ years relevant work experience.
• Requires hospital experience as a nursing assistant or related field (e.g., medical assistant).
• BLS certification within 90 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Obtain vital signs, height, weight and demographic data.
• Assist patients with personal and daily care (bathing, oral hygiene, shaving, hair care).
• Deliver meals and snacks and document oral intake for patients who cannot feed themselves.

PRN Pay Rate: $20.00 per hour

Responsibilities

• Obtain vital signs, height, weight and demographic data


• Assist patients with personal and daily care, such as bathing, oral hygiene, shaving and hair care


• Deliver meals and snacks, feed patients who are unable to feed themselves and document oral intake


• Turn and position immobile patients safely while maintaining proper body alignment; participate in mobility program


• Transport patients to designated areas, such as to and from various treatment centers

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications

• High school diploma/GED OR relevant work experience (3+ years)


• Requires hospital experience as a nursing assistant, certification as a nursing assistant or experience in a related field (i.e. medical assistant, actively enrolled RN student)


• BLS is required within 90 days of hire
