Job summary

Critical Illness Recovery Hospital in Grand Rapids is seeking a Nursing Assistant (NA) for PRN shifts (7:00 pm–7:00 am or 7:00 am–7:00 pm) with a pay of $22.00 per hour. The role includes bathing patients with basin-less products, oral care, feeding and hair care, plus hourly rounds and patient transport as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or 3+ years of relevant work experience.
• Hospital experience as a nursing assistant or certification as a nursing assistant.
• BLS certification required within 90 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Perform patient care including bathing with basin-less products, oral hygiene, feeding and hair care.
• Participate in hourly rounds to monitor patient needs.
• Transport patients to treatment centers and assist with transfers to stretchers and wheelchairs.
• Maintain cleanliness of bedpans, urinals, wheelchairs and other instruments.
• Keep patient rooms clean and orderly; manage unit stock of supplies.
